selten schreiben songwriter derart originell über beziehungen. und kate nash ist erst 21! auf dem aktuellen album "made of bricks" gibt es einige geschichten über männer und frauen, die einem oft bekannt vorkommen, aber so abgeklärt, kitsch-frei und augenzwinkernd wurden die noch nie erzählt. dazu sehr witziger, gut gelaunter pop mit wohl dosierten, schrägen soundeffekten. - und dieser unglaublich charmante londoner akzent! love it, beide daumen hoch. das wird meine frühlings-feelgood-CD.

eben habe ich mir die optimale festival-hose zugelegt:

neuestes abschreckendes beispiel dafür, was drogen und alkohol aus talentierten menschen machen können war amy winehouse live bei den MTV european music awards 2007. ein bild des jammers. völlig desorientiert, total aus dem takt, verschmiertes make-up. sie wankt, als würde sie jeden moment umkippen, scheint noch spindeldürrer als bisher und als wäre es durch diese singerei nicht ohnehin klar, dass sie hackedicht ist, reibt sie sich dann auch mehrmals das näschen. schade, wäre ja eine tolle stimme. you really should go to rehab, don't say no, no, no....

hut ab, vor den tänzern und backgroundsängern, dass sie da mit machen und im gegensatz zu der witzfigur da vorne sehr professionell wirken. und markus kavka sagt, das war eine tolle performance - wie geht's dem eigentlich? tomaten auf den ohren?

zum glück gab's auch snoop dogg in lederhosen, das entschädigt für alles.

das ist paul potts. ein unscheinbarer loser, dem niemand etwas zutraut und der sich auch selbst nichts zutraut. der als kind immer gehänselt wurde und der mächtig schiefe zähne hat. das leben hat ihm übel mitgespielt, er hatte einen blinddarmdurchbruch, dabei wurde ein tumor an seiner niere entdeckt und nachdem der entfernt war, fuhr ihn ein auto über den haufen und er brach sich das schlüsselbein. durch die gesundheitlichen probleme häufte er hohe schulden an. das ist jetzt alles nicht mehr wichtig, denn mit diesem auftritt wurde der schüchterne dicke aus wales zum held aller loser dieser welt:



er hat die show dann auch gewonnen, seine erste CD ist extrem erfolgreich und bald wird er vor der queen singen.
